THE JEWEL DUBAILAND

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

An ambitious project reproducing the seven wonders of the world, both past and present, on a single site 4 km by 4 km in Dubailand UAE. The wonders include the great pyramids of Giza, the hanging gardens of Babylon, the Canals of Venice, the Eiffel Tower of Paris, the Statue of Liberty in New York, Petra and the Taj Mahal, all recreated in full size and complete with a compressed version of the cities in which they are found. The cities are all linked by overhead monorail systems and internally by water transport. The land transport at each site is authentic to the place or period. The central island is a large themed amusement park. The development is bounded by residential communities and hotels, themed to blend with the adjacent wonder and surrounds.

SCOPE OF WORK

Serendipity by Design was the Principal Consultant responsible for design from developing concepts directly with the client through to supervision of construction drawings including master planning, architectural and interior design.
